Wombat Cottage

Wombat Cottage is ideal for couples, small families, or if you are traveling with close friends. It is a one bedroom cottage situated inside the park, right where the animals roam.  The bedroom contains a queen bed with separate TV and DVD player.  The lounge/ living area has 2 singles (one with trundle) for an extra 1-3 persons.  It has a spa, 68cm TV/DVD in the lounge & a 51cm TV/DVD in the bedroom (so you can still put young children to bed early), washing machine and drier, and  fully S/C kitchen.   It has a reverse cycle airconditioner.

Wombat Cottage is free-standing, and has it's own private yard with Pademelons (small wallabies) and Rufous Bettongs (rabbit-sized kangaroos) free roaming around the cottage.   Both species are now extinct in the wild in Victoria.  Whitney & Wally, two of our friendly hairy-nosed wombats, are always happy to greet new guests.

* The trundle has been provided to allow for an extra child/ person (due to popular demand).  However, floor space is limited and it is really only for those families who don't mind being together.  It pulls out between the 2 single beds.

Please no animals inside even if they do knock.

Left:  Lounge area.  King single and trundle bed provide extra sleeping.  An extra TV/DVD in main bedroom allows for kids to go to bed earlier if required.

Right:  Spa in the bathroom.  Also has washing machine & drier.
