Melba
Gully was once a famous picnic spot and was also the end of the line for
the local train line. Today only remnants remain, but it is still
a wonderful spot for a picnic. Take the walk to the Big Tree or
return at night to see the glowworms. It is only a 5 min drive
from Fauna Australia Wildlife Retreat.

Located
in the Otway National Park, Mait's Rest provides a magical walk through
the untouched forest. Be amazed at the giant tree ferns or just
take in the relaxing atmosphere.

The Great Ocean Walk
is another magnificent walk. It can be done in sections or from
its starting point at Apollo Bay to the
finish at Glenample, near the Twelve
Apostles.

All the waterfalls in
the area are beautiful walks just by themselves.
