Birds |
|
Australia is
blessed with a vast array of birds in all shapes and sizes. We
have several resident Crimson Rosellas and have other different visitors
from time to time like wrens, bowerbirds, cockatoos and honey eaters.
We keep mainly larger parrots at Fauna Australia Wildlife Retreat, as due to the cold climate smaller birds would require special housing and heating over the winter months. We are currently in the process of adding exotic birds to our collection as this is Dean's interest. We aim to have several different parrot exhibits. These being Australian, Indonesian, South American and African
