Gliders

We house 2 species of gliders; Sugar Gliders and the larger Squirrel Gliders.  Both have a thin membrane of skin between their front and hind legs which act as a parachute allowing them to glide over 50 metres from tree to tree.  Their fluffy tails act as a rudder.  The Squirrel Gliders, being larger, have a fluffier tail. They are in the possum family and are marsupials.  They are nocturnal.
